STARING Room 9...

A few words about us...

We are a Year 5 and 6 class at Bairds Mainfreight Primary School. We love all kinds of sports, especially rugby, softball and cricket. We love to learn and have fun at the same time! In our class we have Maori, Cook Island, Samoan and Tongan children.

Traveling to Waiheke

On Friday we went to Waiheke Island. Everyone was exploring the ferry, it was windy and a little bit cold.
This is when we saw the cows at the barn yard. This is the youngest cow out of the other cows. The lady from Waiheke took some hay from the cows for us to touch and smell. The children saw the black cow do its poop in front of them. As you can see little girl is having her delicious stinky breakfast.

Here are a whole lot of sheep. The sheep were going to the other side because they were scared. Then they had to get a handsome or pretty hair cut. We got to keep some of the wool.

Everyone decided to have a whole class photo on the upper hill. We were half way there but there was a long path all the way to the beach. But it went really quickly for Room 9. Some kids from Room 9 wanted to walk and do exercise all the way down to the beach and Room 9 never gives up at all.
