Fundraising for Christchurch

This is the leardership group fundraising for Christchurch. They chose to   wash teachers cars so we can get more money for Christchurch. They are
 having a lot of fun getting messy but a lot of hard work. I think our teachers are worried about there cars getting washed. Maybe ET is thinking of jumping on the car.

 
We  had some money to by some toys, food, books and a lot of other stuff
that was there. Xavier must of bought a lot of goodies for the fundraising
for Christchurch and  we all paid our money to buy toys and books, an 
ice block and sausage and some movies and dvds.   


We raised over $4000 for Christchurch!

Your brain works fast at all times and it will send messages through your body.

We are learning how our bodies work and how to use them.

Room 09 is drawing the body parts, our brain and nervous system.  

          

Room9 is practising their sketching on natural things under the big oak tree .Everyone is having lots of fun sketching natural things. These are all of the natural things that Robert, Tea
and Deishan are sketching.
TIPS:
Room 9 knows some tips about sketching.
Always keep your pencil as light as a feather

Look carefully at the object.

And use different types of line thickness.

 At  the brainy bunch we learned about our body and how our body needs to stay healthy.  We need water, food, love, safety  and shelter. We learned that we have a nervous system and we met some new friends called Tan and Herald, we sang songs and we played games and did quizzes.

Super Heroes

 
We had fun making super heroes! We worked hard as a team and laughed so much. We had so much fun that we cracked ourselves up. We worked so so hard.                                                                                                            

The Best Day of Softball

On Monday after lunch eating we were trying out for softball. There were many girls and boys playing. Then Mr Reddrop told  us to get the gear ready to play softball. After that we were starting to get warmed up. We were getting ready to play softball. First we were fielding then we were batting. When we were fielding Genesis caught the most balls.
